Isco: Madrid still has work to do

The Spain Under-21 star believes the Liga giant is not yet ready for the new season and is happy with life at his new club so far.

New Real Madrid arrival Isco has stressed that the Santiago Bernabeu side still has plenty of work to do before the start of the 2013-14 campaign.

The youngster, who joined Madrid from Malaga this summer, impressed in los Blancos' 3-1 preseason win over LA Galaxy on Thursday, but he feels the club is not at its desired level just yet.

"There is still work to do, but we have just started," the attacking midfielder was quoted as saying on the club's official website.

"We have to keep training to be ready. We are getting to know each other better for the start of the league season."

The 21-year-old then went on to make it clear that he has not encountered any problems adapting to his new surroundings so far.

"My teammates make it easy for me to adapt. I try to play football and I'm happy with how things are going so far."
