Sirigu expecting tough Ajaccio clash

The 26-year-old believes les Parisiens are poised for a tight contest with the Corsicans and will need to work hard in order to collect their first three points of the season

Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu has said he is expecting AC Ajaccio to hold their own ahead of Sunday's clash with Fabrizio Ravanelli's men.

Les Parisiens began their Ligue 1 title defence with a 1-1 draw away to Montpellier last week and, having failed to beat the Corsica-based outfit on two occasions last season, the Italian expects a difficult 90 minutes if the champions are to

earn their first victory of the new campaign.

"First of all, I don't think it will be any easier than the game against Montpellier, even if, on paper, Ajaccio's team isn't as good," the 26-year-old told the club's official website.
"They gave us a real run for our money last season. We have to have respect for them because they are one of the few teams we didn't beat last season."

PSG are expected to hand a debut to €64 million summer signing Edinson Cavani as they go in search of their first win of the campaign.
