Perez: Ronaldo will retire at Madrid

The club president has reiterated that the Portuguese star will end his career at the Bernabeu, despite reported interest from Manchester United and PSG.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez insists the club has received no offers for Cristiano Ronaldo and is adamant the 28-year-old forward will end his career with the Blancos.

Premier League champion Manchester United and Ligue 1 big-spender Paris Saint-Germain have both been reportedly linked with moves for the Portugal international over the summer, with Ronaldo yet to agree an extension to his existing contract that runs until 2015.

Perez, however, has assured Madrid supporters that Ronaldo will not be sold and insisted that he will remain at the Bernabeu for the rest of his career.

"Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in the world and Real Madrid revolves around him," Perez told L'Equipe. "I can assure you that this is where he will end his career. And we have not received any offer."

Ronaldo, who finished the 2012-13 campaign as Madrid's top scorer with 34 goals in as many La Liga games, notched two goals in his side's 6-0 preseason friendly win over Bournemouth on Sunday.
